Katyayani Bhasam is a powerful bioinsecticide formulated from Beauveria bassiana, a naturally occurring soil fungus. Designed for effective pest control, it provides a safe and eco-friendly solution for gardens, farms, and home use, while supporting overall plant health and sustainability.
Target Pests

Mode of Action
· Spores attach to the insect’s body
· They germinate and penetrate the insect’s cuticle
· The fungus multiplies inside the pest, releasing toxins and absorbing nutrients

Dosage & Application for Liquid Format
· Foliar Spray: 5 ml per liter of water
· Soil Application: 750 ml to 1 liter per acre (drenching or mixed with organic manure/soil)
· Drip Irrigation: 1 liter per acre

Dosage & Method of Application for Powder Format
Katyayani Beauveria is used for foliar spray and soil application. The normal dosage is 20 g per plant.
Soil Application: Mix 3 – 5 kg Katyayani Beauveria with 200 kg organic manure and apply uniformly to moist soil (1 acre). For tree crops mix 20 g with 1 kg organic manure and apply at the base.
Foliar Spray: Mix 20gm Katyayani Beauveria in 8 litres of water to 10kg per hectare and spray on the foliage during evening hours. Use the spray solution as a direct spray targeting the pests on the undersides of the leaves.
Drip Irrigation: Katyayani Beauveria can be mixed 20gm /litre of water. After filtering it can be incorporated into the soil through the drip irrigation system during the pre or post planting stage. Apply preferably in the early morning or during the late evening hours.
