Ecotika Powdered Rock Phosphate (Tattva Series) is a 100% natural, slow-release mineral fertilizer containing 20% $P_2O_5$ (phosphorus pentoxide) and essential micro-minerals, including calcium. Mined directly from natural sedimentary deposits, this fine mineral powder supplies long-term phosphorus to promote robust root architecture, sturdy plant skeletons, and vibrant flower and fruit formation without burning delicate roots or polluting local ecosystems.
· Key Benefits: Long-lasting root development, improved blooming and fruit set, rich natural calcium source, safe non-burning formula.
· Major Applications: Potting soil mixes, garden beds, perennial ornamentals, fruit trees, and flowering shrubs.
Problems this product helps address:
· Poor Root Growth & Weak Anchoring: Corrects phosphorus deficiency symptoms where seedlings fail to establish or develop weak, shallow root structures.
· Lack of Flowers & Premature Bud Drop: Solves nutrient deficits that prevent plants from developing floral buds or cause sparse blooming.
· Purplish or Reddish Older Leaves: Reverses visual phosphorus deficiency, often indicated by a distinct purplish tint along older leaves and stems.
· Blossom End Rot & Weak Stems: Provides natural calcium alongside phosphorus to reinforce plant cell walls and prevent fruit decay at the blossom end.
· Frequent Nutrient Leaching in Pots: Replaces quick-release chemical inputs with a stable mineral substrate that remains in container soil through multiple waterings.
Application Method and Dosage:
Soil Preparation & Potting Mix Blending (Recommended):
· Container Mixes: Thoroughly blend 20–30 grams (approx. 2 tablespoons) per 10 kg of potting substrate/soil prior to planting.
· Raised Garden Beds: Apply 100–150 grams per square meter into the top 4–6 inches of soil during bed preparation.
Top-Dressing Established Plants:
1. Lightly scratch the soil surface around the drip line of the plant (1 to 2 inches deep), keeping slightly away from the main stem base.
2. Evenly sprinkle 20–30 grams for a 12-inch pot.
3. Gently work the powder into the soil and water thoroughly.
Fruit Trees & Shrubs:
· Apply 250–500 grams per tree around the drip line twice a year (early spring and pre-monsoon), mixing thoroughly into the root zone soil.
Precautions & Storage:
· Application Tip: Works best in soil rich in organic matter (compost/vermicompost) and slightly acidic to neutral pH environments where biological activity mobilizes phosphorus efficiently.
· Dust Precaution: Fine mineral powder may generate light dust during application; avoid inhaling and wear a simple dust mask if handling large quantities.
· Storage: Store in a cool, dry place in its original sealed bag to protect against ambient moisture buildup.
