Mode of action: Selective, systemic action absorbed by foliage and roots. Inhibits plant amino acid synthesis - acetohydroxyacid synthase AHAS.

Introduction:
Garuda is a new generation broad-spectrum post-emergent herbicide containing Bispyribac-sodium as an active ingredient. It effectively controls most weed species infesting rice crops, both in nurseries and the main field.

Features: Broad spectrum post-emergent herbicide - It effectively controls grasses, sedges, and broadleaf weeds infesting rice crops both in the nursery and the main field.

Major Weed Species that it Control: Echinochloa crusgalli, Echinochloa colonum Ischaemum rugosum, Cyperus difformis, Cyperus iria Fimbristylis miliacea, Eclipta alba, Ludwigia parviflora, Monochoria vaginalis, Alternanthera philoxeroides, Sphenoclcea zeylenica.

Flexibility in application time: It has a wide application window and can be used in the early post emergent segment. Novel herbicide with low dosage- It requires very low dose to attain highly satisfactory and consistent results

Crops and Target Weeds Nursery: 10-12 days of sowing for nursery rice

Transplanted Rice: Within 10-14 days of transplanted rice when most of the weeds have already emerged and are of 3-4 leaf stage depending upon soil and climatic factors.

Direct seeded rice: Optimum time of application is within 15-25 days of the sowing.

Method of Application:

1. Shake the bottle well before well,
2. Targeted weeds should directly be exposed to Garuda Solution spray,
3. Use Flat fan / Flood jet nozzle only, Ensure uniform spray only
4. Avoid Spray if rain is expected within 6 hrs.,
5. Re-flood the field within 48 - 72 hrs. of application.
6. Maintain water for 5-7 days to suppress weed emergence.

Dosage: Mix 80-120 ml of Katyayani Garuda per Acre. Detailed Instructions are given along with leaflet with the product.
