Chrysanthemum Special is a purpose-designed Plant Care Solution developed for chrysanthemums, supporting healthy vegetative growth, branching, bud development and flowering.
It is designed around the changing nutritional needs of chrysanthemum plants as they progress from early growth through branching, bud initiation and active flowering.
Best suited for: Chrysanthemum / Guldaudi
Primary uses: Vegetative growth, branching, bud development and flowering support
Suitable for: Potted chrysanthemums, balcony gardens, terraces, home gardens and ornamental cultivation
Chrysanthemum Special is intended to provide nutritional support where chrysanthemums require:
· Strong vegetative establishment
· Development of healthy shoots
· Active branching
· Nutritional support after pinching
· Support during bud initiation
· Continued nutritional support during flowering
· A structured feeding programme for potted chrysanthemums
· Stage-appropriate nutritional management
If your chrysanthemum is underperforming
Evaluate the complete growing environment:
Light → Pot size → Root health → Watering → Drainage → Pinching → Temperature → Nutrition
Chrysanthemum Special addresses the nutrition component of this programme; it is not a treatment for pests, diseases, poor light or root-zone problems.

2. Application Frequency & Seasonal Schedule
- Vegetative & Branching Growth Phase (Late Summer to Early Autumn): Apply every 15 to 20 days to support rapid stem development, heavy branching, and foliage expansion.
- Bud Initiation & Bloom Phase (Mid-Autumn to Winter): Apply every 15 days until flower buds show color; cease heavy nitrogen applications once blooms begin to open fully.
- Post-Bloom / Pruning Phase: Reduce application to once every 30 to 45 days after cutting back spent flowers.
- Off-Season / Hot Summer Phase: Suspend or reduce feeding to once every 45 to 60 days to prevent burn during low growth periods.
3. Best Practices for Soil Application
- Light Topsoil Aeration (Godi): Gently stir the top 1 inch of soil around the plant perimeter, taking extra care around shallow chrysanthemum roots.
- Peripheral Ring Placement: Scatter the blend in a concentric ring along the drip line of the pot or canopy, staying at least 2 inches away from the main stems.
- Soil Mixing: Lightly work the blend into the upper soil layer to allow the organic meals (Castor seed cake and Neem seed meal) to break down efficiently.
- Immediate Deep Watering: Water thoroughly right after application to activate microbial decomposition. Do not exceed recommended dosages.
