(1) For pre-emergence application : (a) Ensure that the field do not have clods and stubbles (b) After spraying metribuzin 70 WP, do not distrub the soil. (2) For pre and post emergence application: (a) Avoid drift of spray into adjoining crop field. The recommended time of application and dose should be observed. metribuzin 70 WP should be sprayed with flood jet\/flat fan nozzles without overlapping spray swaths. To keep uniform swath width, it is advisable to keep the nozzle height constant from ground level i.e. 48-50 cms. Precautions by users :- 1. After each operation the mixing and spraying equipment is to be rinsed thoroughly with plenty of water, using a detergent or soap solution before being put to use for spraying other pesticides 2. Any surplus spray solution must not be disposed off in crop lands or in stagnant flowing water, where there is a possibility of polluting sources. Limitations for use:- It should not be used in crops where it has not been recommended. It should never be used in combination with any insecticides, urea or growth regulators.
