Description:

Dr. Bactose meta is a biological insecticide containing Metarhizium anisopliae parasitic fungus.

Mode of Action:
The spores of this fungus when coming in contact with the cuticle (skin) of insects, they germinate and grow directly through the cuticle to the inner body of their host. The fungus proliferates throughout the insect’s body and drains out nutrients from the insect body, eventually causing the mortality of the insect. It secretes some specific enzymes leading to the death of insects gradually in favorable conditions.
